Bordeaux 2010 New Release: Charmail

A perennial favourite of ours, Charmail has once again performed brilliantly in this vintage. Described by Robert Parker as “one of the most powerful, rich wines I have ever tasted from this over-achieving estate in the northern sector of the Medoc”, this is a must-buy for any lover of classic claret and excellent value too.

2010 Château Charmail, Cru Bourgeois Haut-Médoc
£138 per case of 12 bottles in bond
Fragrant in the glass, with notes of dark berries and spice. This has a rich, dark fruit nature on the palate, with a beautiful vein of balancing freshness and a fine frame of ripe tannins. Classically structured, benchmark claret.
Drinking: 2015-2025
