2010 Beaumont – now released

We were pleasantly surprised when tasting at the quality to be found at all levels in Bordeaux this year. This was especially true of some of the wines in the Haut-Médoc classification, where the high quality of the Cabernet Sauvignon was able to sing.

2010 Beaumont particularly impressed us at the Haut-Médoc tasting, standing out, with its dark berry nature and delicious freshness.

2010 Château Beaumont, Cru Bourgeois Haut-Médoc
£99 per case of 12 bottles in bond
Open and darkly expressive on the nose. On the palate, this comes across as being light on its feet, with very fine tannins providing the framework for a core of crunchy, fresh fruit. Very good Haut-Médoc.  Drinking: 2015-2025
