2009 Bordeaux Release: Château Dauzac

Château Dauzac is not one of the best known properties in Bordeaux, but recent improvements have meant that it has begun to shine over recent vintages. During our tastings in the commune of Margaux, the wine stood out because of its attractive, assertive and yet harmonious style.

2009 Château Dauzac, Cru Classé Margaux
£270 per case of 12 bottles in bond

Dauzac has produced a massive Margaux in 2009. Almost opaque in the glass and with a deep concentrated, explosive nose. Very opulent and rich on the palate, with sweet powerful tannins and impressive structure. This has serious concentration to back up all its other attributes, making a large-scale, but beautifully balanced wine. Very impressive. Drinking: 2015-2025

Due to unprecedented demand in this vintage, we are quickly selling out of certain wines. Where demand for high-profile wines is likely to exceed supply, we will initially send the release information only to those people who have expressed interest in those specific wines. It is likely that an allocation process will be applied and an expression of interest cannot be considered a guaranteed order.
We therefore recommend strongly that you visit our registration of interest pages and ensure that you have expressed your interest in any wines that you are particularly keen to purchase.
